COAST TO COAST ROUTE 3

This is a really long route with a lot of driving, but it will take you from the east coast to the west coast! An amazing trip with a lot of different cities en landscapes. We encourage you to change the route to really make it your own, bostonCCbut of course you don’t have to. The places where you stop are olmost all cities so make a wise decision; is this a route for you?

-Day 1
Today you are going to pick up your RV in Boston! Your real RV trip starts tomorrow. Just enjoy Boston or get some rest at the campground where you are staying.

-Day 2
Your destination today is great: New York City! The drive is about 215 miles and that should take you about 3 hours and 15 minutes.

 NYCCC-Day 3
It would be a waste to just leave New York City without a whole day exploring the city, so that’s what you are going to do today!

-Day 4
You are heading for Philadelphia today. The drive is about 95 miles and that shouldn’t take you longer then 2 hours.

-Day 5
You’re moving on to Washington DC today! The drive is about 140 miles and that should take you about 2 and a half hours.

-Day 6
Next Destination: Pittsburgh! From now on the days that you drive are going to be long, just so you know. The drive to Pittsburgh is about 245 miles and that should take you about 4 hours.

-Day 7St.Louis
Columbus Ohio is your next destination. The drive is about 185 miles long and that should take you about 3 hours.

-Day 8
Today is the longest driving day of the whole trip. You are heading to St. Louis. The srive is about 420 miles long and that should take you 6 and a half hours. Make sure you make enough stops on the way and relax a bit.

-Day 9
The next destination of your trip is Tulsa. The drive is about 395 miles and that should take you about 5 hours and 45 minutes. You can also decide to stay a day longer in St. Louis before going to Tulsa to catch some rest or to enjoy the city. It’s all up to you!

dallas-Day 10
Dallas is your next stop. The drive is about 255 miles long and that should take you about 4 hours and 15 minutes.

-Day 11
You won’t have to drive today because you will have the whole day to rest and discover Dallas! One of the things you could do is visit Six Flags over Texas, an exciting theme park just outside of Dallas. A whole day of fun for the whole family.

-Day 12
Your next stop is Lubbock. The drive is about 345 miles and that should take you about 5 hours. This is just a small town and it’s a great place to stop during your trip. Just relax at the campground  or take a look in the town. There is a great KOA campground at Lubbock.

-Day 13
Today you are heading to Albuquerque. The drive is about 320 miles and that should take you about 5 hours and 15 minutes.

-Day 14arizona
After two long days of driving you’ve deserved a day rest. Enjoy Albuquerque today!

-Day 15
You are heading to the first and last national park on this route the Grand Canyon National Park. The drive is about 360 miles and that should take you 5 hours and 15 minutes.  Tomorrow you will have the whole day to discover the national park.

-Day 16
You don’t have to drive today!

-Day 17
You are heading to Phoenix today. The drive is about 190 miles and that should take you about 2 hours and 50 minutes.

sandiego-Day 18
Your RV trip is olmost over, but you have two destinations left and now you are heading to San Diego! The drive is about 355 miles and it should take you about 5 hours and 15 minutes.

-Day 19
Just enjoy your day in San Diego!

-Day 20
This is the last day of your RV trip and you are heading to Los Angeles! Your last drive is about 120 miles and it should take you 2 hours. Enjoy Los Angeles, maybe you want to stay a day longer that’s your choose!

 

In total this trip is 3640 miles long.
Actually you should take longer for this trip because you will be driving a lot. It’s doable in 20 days, but it would be better to do in 30 days. Then you will have more rest and more time to discover the cities.
