COAST TO COAST AND ROUTE 66

Of course Route 66 just is what it is, but you could combine the route 66 with an other route. This is an example of how you could ocmbine a trip along the route 66 with a complete other route. We encourage you to make some changes on your own to make it your own RV trips, but you could also use this route.

-Day 1
Today your RV trip starts in Miami. Enjoy Miami the rest of the day, tomorrow your trip will really begin!

-Day 2
You are heading to Orlando. The drive is about 235 miles and it should take you 3 hours and 55 minutes.

-Day 3
You have the whole day to enjoy Orlando and maybe visit a theme park.

-Day 4
You are leaving Orlando and you are heading to Jacksonville. The drive is about 145 miles and it should take you about 2 hours and 30 minutes.

 


 

-Day 5
Today you are heading to Apalachicola National Forest. The drive is about 205 miles and it should take you about 3 hours and 40 minutes.

-Day 6
You are heading to Birmingham today. The drive is about 310 miles and it should take you about 5 hours and 40 minutes,

-Day 7
You are leaving Birmingham behind and you are heading to Memphis. The drive is about 240 miles and it should take you about 4 hours and 5 minutes.

-Day 8
Today you are heading to Oklahoma City. The drive is long, 465 miles and it should take you abot 7 hours and 30 minutes. Just relax when you are in Oklahoma City, this is an exhausting travelday.

 

 

-Day 9
You will have to whole day to relax and explore Oklahoma City. You are leaving tomorrow.

-Day 10
Today you will leave Oklahoma City behind you and you are heading to Amarillo. The drive is 260 miles and it should take you about 4 hours and 30 minutes.

 

 

 

 

-Day 11
You are heading to Albuquerque today and again the drive is a bit long. The drive is 290 miles and it should take you about 4 hours and 45 minutes. But you could also choose to first visit Santa Fe. If you choose to also stop in Santa Fe you should make your trip a day longer to enjoy this beautiful city full of culture, history and beautiful nature.

 

-Day 12
You are leaving Albuquerque and you are heading to Flagstaff. The drive is 320 miles and it should take you about 5 hours and 15 minutes.

-Day 13
You are heading to Barstow California today. The drive is about 355 miles and it should take you about 5 hours and 45 minutes. In this town is not much to do, but there is a great KOA campground. For more information you can visit the website of KOA Barstow.

-Day 14
This is the last day of your RV trip on the Route 66! You are heading to Santa Monica in LA! The drive is 135 miles and it should take you about 2 hours and 15 minutes.

 

 

Of course you can change the route if you want to. Below you can find  a different end of the trip. The first 12 days are the same.

-Day 13
Today you are heading to Las Vegas! The drive is about 250 miles and it should take you about 4 hours and 10 minutes.

-Day 14
You are heading to Death Valley National Park. The drive is about 120 miles and it should take about 2 hours and 35 minutes.

-Day 15
Today you are heading to your last destination: Santa Monica. The drive is about 285 miles and it should take you about 4 hours and 55 minutes.
