COAST TO COAST ROUTE 1

This route will take you from the east coast to the west coast. It’s a great route combining a lot of big cities with beautifull and peacefull national parks. You will cross all kinds of landscapes on your way to the west coast. It’s a long route, but it’s worth it. We encourage you to make some changes of your own in the route to make it your unique RV trip!

-Day 1
Today you will pick up your RV in New York. You will have the rest of the day to explore the city. If you are not from the states you probable need to stay overnight in New York before you can pick up your RV, in that case you will have two days to enjoy the city.

-Day 2
This will be the first day of your actual RV trip! You are heading to Philadelphia. The ride is about 95 miles (2 hours) and some of the roads are toll roads.



-Day 3
Your trip continues to Pittsburgh. The drive is about 305 miles and it will take you about 5 hours and 30 minutes. Some of the
roads are toll roads.

 

-Day 4
Today you are heading to
Columbus Ohio. The drive is about 185 miles and it will take you about 3 hours and 20 minutes.

-Day 5
Today you will drive to Indianapolis. The drive is about 17
5 miles and it will take you about 3 hours. You can enjoy the city the rest of the day.

-Day 6
Today you are heading to St. Louis! The drive is about 245 miles and it will take you 4 hours and 15 minutes. If you like theme parks and you want to extend your RV trip with one day you really should visit Six Flags St. Louis!

-Day 7
You are heading to Tulsa today. The drive is a bit longer than the other days, 400 miles and that should take you 6 hours and 30 minutes.

-Day 8
You can enjoy Tulsa the whole day long. Relax and enjoy your day without driving long distances.

-Day 9
Today you are heading to Oklahoma City. The drive is about 105 miles and it should take you about 1 hour and 45 minuntes.

-Day 10
You are heading to Denver, but the drive is to long to complete on one day so today you are heading to Hays and you will stay overnight here. The drive is about 340 miles and it should take you about 5 hours and 30 minutes. Some of the roads are toll roads. You can stay overnight at a nice KOA campground that has everything you need when you are travelling with a RV. -Day 11
Today you are driving to Denver! The drive is about 340 miles and it should take you about 5 hours and 30 minutes. If you leave in the morning you will have the rest of the day to enjoy Denver.

-Day 12
Today you are heading to a national park, the Rocky Mountains National Park. The drive is only 65 miles and it should take you about 1 hour and 30 minutes. You can use the morning to explore a little bit more of Denver.

-Day 13
You will have the whole day to enjoy Rocky Mountains National Park.

-Day 14
You are heading to Rock Springs today. The drive is about 355 miles and it should take you about 5 hours and 55 minutes.

-Day 15
Today you are heading to Salt Lake City. The drive is about 185 miles and it should take you about 3 hours.

 

 

 

-Day 16
Today you are heading to another national park,  the Capital Reef National Park. The drive is about 235 miles and it should take you about 4 hours and 30 minutes.

-Day 17
Today you are heading to… Las Vegas! The drive is about 375 miles and it should take you about 6 hours and 20 minutes.

-Day 18
You will have the whole day to explore Las Vegas, feeling lucky?

-Day 19
You are heading to
Sequoia National Park. The drive is about 305 miles and it should take about 5 hours and 35 minutes.

-Day 20
Today you are heading to Yosemite National Park. The drive is about 285 miles and it should take you about 5 hours and 25 minutes.

 


-Day 21

You can enjoy Yosemite National Park the rest of the day. Tomorrow you are heading to your last destination.

-Day 22
You are heading to San Francisco! The drive is about 200 miles and it should take you about 3 hours and 45 minutes.

-Day 23
Today you need to return your RV. This is the end of your RV trip.  You can enjoy San Francisco the rest of the day, if you don’t have an early flight.
