BORDER TO BORDER ROUTE 1

This route will take you from San Diego all the way to Seattle. You will drive from the Mexican to the Canadian border along the west coast of the United states. You will come across a lot of big and amazing cities and a national park on the way. A great route to discover the whole west coast!

-Day 1
Today you will pick up your RV in San Diego. You can enjoy San Diego for the rest of the day.

-Day 2
Today you are heading to Los Angeles. The drive is about 120 miles and it should take you about 2 hours and 10 minutes.

-Day 3
You are heading to Santa Barbara. The drive is about 95 miles and it should take you about 1 hour and 45 minutes.

-Day 4
Today you are driving to San Francisco. The drive is about 325 miles and it should take you 5 hours and 40 minutes.

 

 

-Day 5
You will have the whole day to explore San Francisco, so take it easy and enjoy!

-Day 6
Today you are heading to Sacramento, but that’s just a stop. It’s 85 miles to Sacramento and it should take you about 1 hour and 40 minutes. After your stop you are heading to Redding. This drive is about 160 miles and it should take you about 2 hours and 45 minutes. You could also choose to don’t stop in Sacramento en drive to Redding right away.

-Day 7
You are heading to Eugene in Oregon! The drive is about 315 miles and it should take you 5 hours and 30 minutes.

-Day 8
You will have the whole day to enjoy Eugene or you can drive to Portland. That drive is about 110 miles and it should take you about 2 hours.

-Day 9
If you are not in Portland yet, you are heading to Portland today. The drive is about 110 miles and it should take you about 2 hours.

-Day 10
Today you are heading to your first and last national park on your trip. It’s the Olympic National Park. The drive is about 250 miles and it should take you 4 hours and 40 minutes.

-Day 11
You are heading to Seattle. The drive is only 100 miles and it should take you about 2 hours and 50 minutes.

-Day 12
Today you need to turn in your RV in Seattle. You will have the rest of the day to enjoy Seattle before you head home or head to the airport.

 

This is a short RV trip. Of course you could make a trip yourself or expand this route.
