About the park

Grand Teton National Park is a very popular park with four million visitors a year. The park is so popular because of the beautiful landscapes and wildlife. The national park is located in the north western part of Wyoming. This national park is the southern neighbor of Yellowstone National Park, so this region is full of beautiful nature and wildlife! A funny fact is how this national park gained it’s name. French explorers saw the three highest peaks and called them ‘les trois tetons’. That’s why this national park is called Grand Teton.

 

 

 

 

Things to do  in Grand Teton National Park

There are a lot of ways you can enjoy the water in the national park. Boating is one of the popular ways to explorer the water. If you want to go boating you need to follow rules. Campgrounds in Grand Teton National Park
