PITTSBURGH

 About the city

The first explorer that came to this place was the French explorer Robert de La Salle in 1669. This explorer was not the only one that was interested in the area. He was followed by different Dutch explorers. The French built different forts here to protect their area. The first fort failed and the second was destroyed. The third fort was called Fort Pitt and it was named after a British State Secretary and he named the settlement Pittsborough. Many years later the city was called Pittsburgh. That’s enough history for now, let’s see what you can do in the city now a days!
