Of course Cody was named after ‘Buffalo Bill’ Cody and the city was founded in 1895. Now a days this is one of the few real western towns in the USA. So it’s not strange that this town is the rodeo capital of the world. There is a lot to see and to learn in Cody and we are going to tell you a few things about it.

 

 

 

Things to do in Cody

First of all you could take a Cody Trolley Tour. During this tour you will learn everything about Buffalo Bill and his history. But that’s not everything. The Old Trail Town is a whole western town with old western buildings. You can find a general store and a saloon here, but there are more buildings. The spot where The Old Trail Town is located is the spot where William F. (Buffalo Bill) Cody laid out the townsite of Cody, so this is a very special place for the town. Now a days this is really an old western town. You can also find a museum here that’s called Museum of the Old West.
