BIRMINGHAM

 About the city

Birmingham Alabama was founded in 1871 by investors like cotton planters, bankers and railroad entrepreneurs. This was a real business town and Birmingham doesn’t have a colonial history. During the 1900’s  nothing really changed here. Now a days it’s not only a business city. There is a major medical research center in Birmingham and tourism is getting bigger, but business is still important.
